About

Not only did I inherit my grandfathers loss of hair, but also his love for creating things out of wood. While my grandfather became a teacher due to what was needed at the time, I was lucky enough to choose my job. After leaving school I immediately started on my next chapter which was my carpentry apprenticeship in Ireland. Upon finishing that I followed my itch to become a journeyman of the trade by traveling and working for joinery and carpentry companies all over the world. The opportunity for me to watch and learn from the best woodworkers in the UK, America, Australia and around Europe was the driving factor behind my travels.

From this experience I found that I had a strong desire to work alongside talented design professionals on joinery projects that were both challenging in their fabrication complexity and focus required to achieve the level of finish necessary to meet their brief.
Combining knowledge and experience with an unquenchable hunger to learn and a deep respect, as well as understanding for wood, I detail and build pieces that aspire to last for generations. Knowing that a tree takes a lifetime to grow, I take my time and respect the use of the material that goes in to every piece. It is my passion to build to the highest possible standard and no piece of furniture will leave my workshop until it meets my idea of perfection.
